Ekta Kapoor had a bad fall at the Big Star Entertainment Awards function, held at Andheri Sports Complex yesterday.
Producer of Ek Villain (the film which won the Most Entertaining Thrilling Film Award) waltzed in, decked up in a stylish black gown which seemed a bit long for her comfort. A few seconds later, she was posing for the shutterbugs on the red carpet.
And then, she began walking in.
Just nine-ten steps into her walk, she fell.
Blame it on the gown. Add this to the fact that she was wearing a six-inch heel.
An eyewitness says, "A few people who saw her tripping rushed to help her."
She sat down to watch the show, but was in slight discomfort. A source close to her says, "Ekta got a few bruises on her knees and elbows."
SpotboyE.com spotted Balaji Films' head honcho limping out of the venue at 9.45 pm.
